I will be staying at the Boardwalk for one week. I hve to sign into work for a few of those days, My work machine does not allow wireless connections. Can I still direct connect using my hardware connection into the wall outlet? Thanx

    Hi Ron,

Unfortunately, with the rollout of the Wi-Fi network in the resort hotels, Disney deactivated their Ethernet connections in the guest rooms. Sorry!

However, there may be some hope because it just so happens that there is a business center at the resort hotel where you'll be staying. I was told by one of the cast members in the IT support group that the various business centers on property should still have active Ethernet ports for guests to use.

(Maybe you can just ignore that little piece of information so you can tell your boss that you unfortunately won't be able to do any work while you're at Walt Disney World!)

I hope that helps and I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

    Best regards,
    Derek
