    Staying at Boardwalk Inn on our trip next Feb/March. I have been trying to get Captain America magic band for months; it is never available. I am considering buying it from ShopDisney. Can it be personalized? I am not seeing that option. Thanks!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

    I’m so sorry that you haven’t been able to secure the Premium MagicBand that you’d like to purchase for your upcoming stay in a Disney Resort Hotel. From what I understand this option has been so popular that those MagicBands often sell out in minutes when they get restocked over at My Disney Experience. Plus, not every version that you may see over at shopDisney is available as a potential upgrade, which is why you might not be seeing the Captain America one that you’re looking for. Unfortunately, as of right now, the only way to personalize these MagicBands is if they’re purchased as part of a stay in a Disney Resort Hotel.

    That doesn’t mean that you should stop holding out for the hero that you want! I’ve also heard that there can be a bit of a glitch when Canadians try to order them for their upcoming stay. My recommendation: switch your page’s language to “English - United States” and you might have better luck that way. 

    If you still don’t see the MagicBand you’re looking for, don't give up! They keep changing the different types of MagicBands in the “premium” inventory, so keep checking a few times a week before your vacation and you may see it appear. And, don’t forget, because your MagicBands can’t be shipped to your Canadian home address but rather will be ready for you to pick up at your Disney Resort Hotel when you arrive, you can keep checking up until about a week before your arrival before placing your final order.
