We will be staying at The Boardwalk Inn Hotel at the end of August. I will be in the middle of my half marathon training. I need at least a five mile course that I can run. Any ideas.

    Hi Marianne!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Boardwalk Inn is one of my family's favorite resorts to stay in.  It's also a great place to run!

You can get in an easy three-mile loop if you go from the Boardwalk Inn to Hollywood Studios, back in front of the Beach Club and to the International Gateway entrance at Epcot.  If you Google the phrase "running at Boardwalk Inn" you can find several mapped out images that runners have posted.

You can find shorter distances on the Walt Disney World Running Trails web page, and you can get maps of the trails at the front desk when you check in.

You could add in some mileage by jogging around the Swan and Dolphin resort sidewalks, but I would just do the loop twice if I were you.  it's such a beautiful area that I promise you won't get bored.  I prefer to get up and run early in the morning while the Boardwalk is just coming to life.  Then, I stop at the Boardwalk Bakery for my morning cup of coffee.  It's the perfect beginning to my day!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
