I am staying at the Boardwalk Inn for the first time this weekend. Is it easier to walk to Epcot or take the bus? I often get confused with that area.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Allison!

What a great name you have!  The BoardWalk Inn is fabulous and you're going to love staying at that resort.

You have a couple of good options to get to Epcot from BoardWalk Inn:  Walk or take a Friendship Boat.  Either of these options takes you to Epcot through the International Gateway in the World Showcase.  If you're heading to Future World before the World Showcase opens, you can still enter through the International Gateway.  Cast Members will direct you towards the Canadian Pavilion to Future World.

Depending on how fast you walk, walking may be a faster option for you than taking a Friendship Boat which will also make a stop at the dock for Disney's Beach & Yacht Club Resorts.  On a nice evening after a big meal at Epcot, I enjoy walking back to the BoardWalk Inn. The lights are beautiful along the lake and I love the festive atmosphere of the BoardWalk.

Please feel free to visit us with any other questions.  We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
