We are staying at Boardwalk Inn from April 15-18 and I have a few questions. Can we park there before checkin while visiting one of the parks? While at the park, can we use the dining plan that day (before check in)?

Hey there, Paula! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad you stopped by with your questions.

With an idyllic location, a plethora of restaurants and walkable paths to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's BoardWalk Inn is a great home base to enjoy all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

I, too, like to start touring the parks as soon as possible, so I'm happy to share that you can easily park at Disney's BoardWalk Inn before your room is ready. For the sake of budgeting, just remember that Standard Overnight Parking charges will apply. However, if you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, standard parking is complimentary

Now... on to the food! My family and I love to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan. Having our meals pre-paid allows me to be stress-free on vacation! Paula, I have good news for you. You can start using your Disney Dining Plan as soon as you complete the Online Check-In on your arrival day (or check-in at your resort). Your room does not need to be ready for you to start redeeming your dining entitlements.

For instance, if you arrive at Disney's BoardWalk Inn at 9:00 am and have completed Online Check-In, you can easily stop by the BoardWalk Bakery for breakfast, using your Disney Dining Plan, before heading to the parks. Another great use of your Disney Dining Plan is for snacks at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. And, since the walk into Epcot is so convenient, I highly recommend checking it out!

Paula, I hope this helps as you are getting ready for your upcoming trip. Best wishes for a Magical vacation!
