We are staying at the Boardwalk in. Grandparents are coming along. We have two rooms. How can we get adjoining rooms?

Hi Christy! Walt Disney World is such a special place to enjoy multi generation vacations together. There is always something everyone can find to do and have a wonderful time.

The Boardwalk Resort is a beautiful spot to stay at for your vacation. You have two parks within walking distance or by boat leaving only needing a bus to head to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom parks as well as Disney Springs. Being just steps away from Epcot opens up your dining opportunities immensely as well. The lights over looking the lake at night make this one of the most magical settings on property.

If you are hoping to get adjoining rooms you will want to make sure that is noted on your reservation. To do this please call the reservation number, 407-934-7639, and ask them to please add that notation. About a week out the resort will start looking at availability and will start the assigning process. It is a gigantic puzzle where all the pieces must come together.

Before you make your call please make sure you have your wording correct on what you are hoping to get for your stay. Adjoining rooms mean you will need to go out in the hall to reach each door. They will be next to each other but not connected internally. If you want to have an internal door between the two rooms then you will need to request connecting rooms. Many families love this as they just leave the door open between the two rooms for their entire stay.

Disney will do everything possible for you to get what you request but especially during busy times it will be tougher.
