We are staying at the Boardwalk and have family visiting us. Will they be able to park at the Boardwalk?

    Hiya Jess,

Welcome to planDisney! What a great question! Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has been on my list of must-stays ever since I visited one of my pals who was staying there. I love how close it is to EPCOT, and the rooms have such beautiful theming.

When I visited my friend, who was a Guest, Jess, I happened to be staying at a nearby resort hotel, so I didn’t have to worry about parking. Luckily, I could speak to a Cast Member about parking for non-resort Guests! The current policy at Walt Disney World Resort is that parking at Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels is limited to Guests of that resort and Guests with confirmed dining reservations for that resort hotel. The great news is that Disney’s BoardWalk has many incredible dining locations, including my favorite, Trattoria al Forno. Sharing a meal is a great way to visit each other, so I recommend having your family make a reservation for one of the table service locations. With their reservation, you can all sit down together and enjoy a meal, and then you can show them around your resort hotel. In my experience, Guests with dining locations can park for up to three hours, giving you plenty of time as a family.

Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.

Hey Y'all! I’m Ashley and I live in Texas. My family and I love trying out the yummy snacks (DOLE Whip anyone!) and taking full advantage of our resort days. When we are not piloting the Millennium Falcon, exploring Kilimanjaro Safaris, or watching fireworks, you can find me planning our next adventure to Walt Disney World! I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
