    Staying at the Boardwalk in early Sept. I was wondering if you can take a bus to Epcot and DHS or just the boat or walking? And can you take the boat between Epcot and DHS? Thanks!!

    Hi Lisa,

    Typically the Friendship Boat at the back of Disney's Boardwalk Inn is the only option Disney provides to transport guests to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  When there is construction at the resort dock, buses are provided as an alternate form of transportation, but that doesn't happen very often.  I really enjoy the walk from the Boardwalk to these two theme parks.  You couldn't ask for a more delightful path to stroll.  Getting to Epcot is particularly speedy on foot.  In fact, I've gotten there faster walking than by boat on occasion.  It all depends on whether there's a boat already waiting at the Boardwalk dock or not.

    If you are leaving Epcot through the International Gateway in World Showcase, it is a fun ride to reach Disney's Hollywood Studios by Friendship Boat.  Just consult the captain of the boat regarding whether you will need to transfer to a different boat at one of the Disney resorts along the way.
