Hi! Staying at Boardwalk in Aug. Will the Skyline be open yet to enter Epcot at International Gateway? Just wondering what crowds will be like at this entrance. We have enjoyed the ease and quietness of this entrance in the past. Thx!!

    Hi Diana,

I love seeing that you've returned to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask us another great question. Welcome back!

It's not too much longer until you'll be at the most magical place on earth, and I hope you're getting excited for your August visit! Since you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, your FastPass+ selection window will open 60 days before your arrival, which is really soon for you. I hope that you have fun choosing three attractions and experiences per day ahead of time to skip the standby lines!

The Disney Skyliner looks like SO MUCH FUN! I cannot wait to ride the gondolas, period, but they will also make getting around between Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and several of the Disney Resort hotels much easier. While there have been some updates about this great new transportation option on the Disney Parks Blog, no opening date has been released yet, so it's pretty safe to say that it won't be open by the time you visit this August. You should find the International Gateway entrance of Epcot to be a similar experience to what you enjoyed on your last visit. Don't you just love that walk between Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Epcot? It's so pretty!

For any further updates on the Disney Skyliner transportation system, I'd encourage you to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog as it's always a great source for what's new around the Walt Disney World Resort, or feel free to stop by here again! Diana, I hope that you have a truly magical vacation this August!
