Hi Jenny! Welcome back to planDisney!
It is almost time for your arrival at the Most Magical Place on Earth! How exciting! You're also just a few days out from being able to book advance dining reservations for the duration of your stay. I consider myself a "Disney foodie," so I'm super happy that you're being proactive in planning some meals ahead of time.
My family loves staying at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I love the variety of options available for dining near this Disney Resort Hotel. Not only can you eat at a yummy spot on
Disney's BoardWalk, but you're within walking distance of
EPCOT,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort and
Disney's Beach Club Resort! I usually can't resist a stroll around the World Showcase at EPCOT, so that would be my choice for dining reservations, too.
Jenny, you do not need to have park reservations in order to make advance dining reservations. You will still be able to book your party at one of your favorite EPCOT restaurants up to 60 days before your check-in date. Yay! This does give you the advantage of choosing which parks you visit on which days based on the dining reservations you selected.
I would recommend making your park reservations sooner rather than later using the
Disney Park Pass Reservation System. It is always helpful to have these secured early, leaving you with one less thing to worry about in the vacation-planning process. Of course, you will need a park reservation for EPCOT on any day you reserved a restaurant in that park.
Jenny, it sounds like you're off to a great start planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Be sure to check out all Disney's Boardwalk has to offer, including my personal favorite,
BoardWalk Bakery, for a sweet treat after your meal!
Happy dining,
Ashley
