    Staying at BLT via RCI. Heard about Top of the World Lounge being open only to DVC members. Would be we able to use it since our reservations are through DVC? Also, saw a BBQ pavilion on the map. Does it have grills we can use if we bring our own food?

    Hi Mary,

    What a great way to use your RCI timeshare, to exchange into Disney Vacation Club.  You have chosen a great resort.  Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is sleek, modern, and beautiful.

    You are correct in that the Top of the World Lounge is open only to Disney Vacation Club members staying using Disney Vacation Club points.  Since you exchanged in through RCI, you will not be able to access the Top of the World Lounge.  Don't worry, though, there are so many other amazing things to do at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort!  Be sure to check out Bay Cove Pool with its twisting waterslide.  Another favorite for my family is the movies under the stars.  Weather permitting, movies are shown each night near the Sky Way bridge.  We love to relax, cuddle up, and take in a movie together.

    There is a barbeque pavilion located neat Bay Cove Pool.  It does have grills that you can use if you bring your own food.  The grills are charcoal, and you will need to bring your charcoal.  Charcoal is available for purchase at Fantasia Market at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
