    Hello! We will be staying at BLT 11/13-11/21. We will not have a car. We will have a 1 BR w/kitchen. What are your suggestions on getting groceries??

    Hi Angie,

    There is a shop within the Contemporary that sells basic groceries.  The selection would be comparable to a small convenience store back at home.  You can hire a cab to take you to a larger convenience store or a grocery store, but it will be a bit expensive.  If you go that route, I would recommend getting a cab from the airport and stopping for groceries on the way. 

    A better option may be buying groceries from a local store that delivers.  By doing an internet search for "grocery delivery Walt Disney World", you will be able to find a few that offer the service.  The fees they charge will be less than the cost of a cab ride. 

    I have also known families who ordered groceries from amazon.com and had them delivered.  The delivery charges may be less, but you can't purchase perishable items from them.
