We are staying in the 2 bedroom villa at the Riviera Resort, is there a high chair in the room?

    Hiya, Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney –– I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.  Can you believe that you're just a few weeks from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort?  After all that planning, the fun is finally ready to begin!  As a mom of four tiny humans, I know first-hand that there's nothing quite like seeing the magic of Walt Disney World through the eyes of your little one, but I also have a lot of experience navigating all the "stuff" that it takes to make vacationing with children a success.  Luckily, though, a 2-Bedroom Villa at Disney's Riviera Resort is perfect for traveling with kids –– let me share a few details about what you can expect in your room that can help make your vacation a breeze.

With a fully-equipped kitchen, in-room washer and dryer, and plenty of space to spread out, a 2-Bedroom Villa at Disney's Riviera Resort is the perfect place for your family to call home during your visit. In your room, you'll typically have a high chair, as well as a pack 'n' play-style playard, which can usually be found in the closet by your room door.  However, if your room doesn't have these items, don't worry –– you can either stop by the front desk or place a quick call to housekeeping to have them delivered to your room.  If your little one prefers sleeping in a bed, you can also request bed rails from housekeeping to use during your visit.

As a Mom, I have to tell you that my favorite kid-friendly features of these Villas are undoubtedly the full-sized refrigerator and the washer and dryer.  While I love planning curated outfits for each day, being able to easily wash clothes easily means that I usually pack fewer basic items for everyone, like pajamas, socks, bathing suits, and so on. While it may not seem like much, those little things can add up to fewer suitcases for our family of six.  I also love having groceries delivered directly to the Resort for our visit, and that big fridge is great for stocking up on milk, yogurt, fruit, and more.   In addition to the convenience and cost savings of having snacks on hand, I find that when my kids are exhausted after the excitement of a long day, there's something really comforting about returning to our room and knowing that their favorite snacks are waiting.  For us, that little piece of "normal" goes a long way to helping everyone relax.  I hope these things help bring a little extra pixie dust to your visit, too!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Lauren.  If you think of new questions before you arrive at Walt Disney World, I hope you'll stop by again –– we're always happy to help!
