Hi, we are staying in a 1 bedroom suite at the Riviera in February. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the single pull down bed is suitable for an adult? Is a comfortable nights sleep for an adult? Thanks Katie

Hi, Katie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It looks like your Magical vacation to Disney's Riviera Resort will be here before you know it! I'm so excited for you to see all there is to do at this new Disney Vacation Club property. If Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast were answering this question, he would say that Disney's Riviera Resort is tres magnifique

You bring up a great question about the single pull-down sleeper. I love that they have added this option to many of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. In terms of comfort and suitability for an adult, I would say that it really depends on the size and sleeping habits of the guest who will be using this bed. The single pull-down sleeper is the size of a twin bed. My pal and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Andres, who is six feet tall was able to lay down comfortably. If your guest is able to sleep in a regular twin bed and doesn't mind having one side closed in, this will be a great option for him or her. I know that I would be cozy and restful sleeping in that bed whereas my father-in-law who is quite a bit larger than me, would not. My favorite feature of this bed, however, were the built-in outlets for easy device charging while you snooze.

I hope that helps with your vacation planning and sleeping arrangements. While you are in planning mode, have you thought about taking a ride on the Disney Skyliner to visit Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios? It's a beautiful ride only steps from Disney's Riviera Resort! If you do catch a gondola, make sure to take a peak at the two hand-tiled murals on your way to the Disney Skyliner station. They are not to be missed!

Best wishes, Katie, on your upcoming trip.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
