Hello! We will be staying in a 2 bedroom at the Riviera. We have 4 adults and 4 kids staying in the room. Our 4 y/o son will be staying in the master bedroom with us, but there doesn't seem to be an extra bed. Are cots or other movable beds available?

Hey Howdy Hey Jeffrey and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Riviera Resort is an amazing resort and a great choice for your upcoming stay. This spectacular resort is themed with the French Riviera in mind with Disney touches that complement the theme perfectly! Thank you for your question about the availability of cots or movable beds for your room during your upcoming stay. I will be happy to give you a little more information so you can better prepare for your vacation.

With a few conversations with Cast Members, I was able to confirm that Disney no longer offers things such as rollaway beds for any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. This policy was updated following changes to fire codes and the space in each room. With a stay in a 2 bedroom villa, you will have one room with a King size bed, one room with 2 Queen sized beds, 1 pull-down bed and 1 pull-down twin. Hopefully, the room is enough to reconfigure sleeping arrangements to get your best night's rest for your Magical days in the parks.

While there are so many things to look forward to during your stay at the Riviera Resort, one not-so-hidden gem to visit is Le Petit Cafe. This Cafe is located right off of the main lobby of the resort and is a fantastic place to grab a coffee and a pastry. Right next door is Walt's Library where you can relax and enjoy your coffee, recharge your phone or just enjoy the details of the room. It is a nice place we like to visit to recharge in the afternoon to get ready for a fun evening in the parks.

I hope you continue to enjoy the planning part of your vacation, after all, it is half of the fun! If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
