We are staying at a 2 bed room, but two of the 4 adults can't sleep together. Do you have rolling/extra beds?

    Hi Joana! Welcome to planDisney.

I love hearing you are planning an adults-only Walt Disney World Resort getaway! I visited a few years ago with dear friends, and we have the BEST long weekend ever. Sharing a room means you get to enjoy one big sleepover too – so much fun!

Because I don’t know which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you’re calling home for your visit, I’m not sure if a rollaway bed or cot would be an option. It really depends on the room layout for fire code reasons. Please call a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-1936 to discuss options for your reservation; you would need to do this anyway to add the request for a rollaway bed to your reservation. Wait times are longer than usual right now due to all the exciting changes and updates connected to the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort; I usually keep the phone on speakerphone while multi-tasking (and have definitely been caught singing along with the happy hold music).

If you find that you’re not able to squeeze a rollaway bed into your room, I have a couple of suggestions. Some of the Deluxe resorts have a sleeper sofa in the room – when my family stays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, we have one child in one of the beds and the other on the sleeper sofa, which works great. I’ve slept on these when sharing a room with a friend and found them comfortable (and being #DisneyTired is a real thing…I could sleep on a rock after all the fun I have during my Disney days). Another option might be a Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, where you’ll find a bedroom with a bed and a closed door, plus a pull-down table bed and a sleeper sofa. These rooms sleep six, but would allow two of your adults to each have their own bed, and as a bonus they have a small kitchenette and two bathrooms, which is great for a group of four adults.

Whatever the sleeping arrangement, I hope you have a fantastic time on your visit, Joana! As you make your plans, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and great tips about experiences and tasty treats to enjoy on your vacation. I keep a running list on my phone, organized by destination, of all the things I have to see, do, and taste on my visit. Have a blast!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
