We are staying in a 2 bed at Old Key West in two weeks. Is coffee provided each day or should I plan on bringing some? If so what kind of coffee maker is provided so I know what kind of coffee/filters to bring? Thanks!!!

    Howdy Sharene!

This is a wonderful question and I am so glad you thought to ask about this!!!

Per multiple Cast Members, in some of the villas, you will find a 4-cup standard style coffee maker.  I believe those are mostly in the studios.

Based on further information from Cast Members (as well as my own recent observations), plan on bringing coffee (and filters) for a standard 12-cup Mr. Coffee type coffee maker.  Coffee packets will be provided for your first day or two of your vacation and your stock may get replenished when you have trash and towel service.  However, I don't want you to get to your resort and not have what you need to make coffee one morning.  That would not be a very pleasant way to start your day.  Plan on bringing enough coffee (and filters) for each day of your vacation that you will need it.

Once you arrive, if, by chance, you do have a 4-cup carafe, I would suggest that you contact Housekeeping at Disney's Old Key West Resort and request a 12-cup coffee maker.  Though, I truly cannot imagine that there would be a 4-cup coffee maker in a room that can accommodate up to 9 guests.

I love how thorough you are being with your planning!  Thanks so much for you question as I'm confident it will help others staying in a Disney Vacation Club Resort plan their visits.

Please let me know if you need any further details as you put the finishing touches on your vacation planning!  I'm so excited for you!! You will be enjoying your Walt Disney World vacation in a few short days!!
