Staying at the Beach Resort & planning on walking through Epcot to the monorail to reach the Magic Kingdom. With the req'd park reservations, does that mean my first park reservation has to be Epcot? And I can't go to another park until 2pm?

Welcome to planDisney, Cayla! Thanks so much for asking this great question. I'm excited to hear that you'll be at The Most Magical Place on Earth in less than two months!

Disney's Beach Club Resort happens to be one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection Hotels! I love being able to walk into EPCOT at the International Gateway and land in the middle of World Showcase! You are correct that you would need a Disney Park Pass Reservation to enter EPCOT and you wouldn't be able to park hop to Magic Kingdom Park until 2:00 p.m. You could do this to take the Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation to Magic Kingdom. However, I would suggest taking the complimentary bus transportation directly from your resort hotel to Magic Kingdom. In my experience staying at this resort, the bus runs pretty frequently. If you wanted to park hop to EPCOT from Magic Kingdom, the Monorail would be a great way to travel there.

While you are visiting, there will be plenty of reasons to visit EPCOT and I highly recommend planning to check out the EPCOT International Food & Garden Festival. From the delicious food and drinks at the Outdoor Kitchens to the great music at the Garden Rocks Concert Series to the beautiful gardens and topiary displays, there's so much to see and do!

There are so many magical benefits to staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort that I wanted to make sure you are aware of. As a Disney Resort Hotel guest, you can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry to the theme parks each day. On select nights at select theme parks, there are Extended Evening Theme Park Hours as well. I would suggest planning a day to enjoy the amenities this beautiful resort has to offer. In my opinion, Stormalong Bay is the best pool in all of Walt Disney World Resort! The restaurant choices at this resort are amazing! I especially love dining at Ale & Compass Restaurant and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. I also love taking a walk around Crescent Lake at the end of the day, and if you time it just right, you might catch some of Harmonious, the new nighttime spectacular at EPCOT.

I hope your Walt Disney World Resort vacation during The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is absolutely magical! If we can answer any additional questions, please stop back by planDisney!

    Happy Planning!
