we will be staying at the beach club villas on our next trip. how long is the walk to hollywood studios? we will have a 5 and 7 year old. how long is the boat ride and what time does the boat start? we have an 8am breakfast at hollywood and vine. thx

Hi Christopher! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You can definitely walk from Disney's Beach Club Villas to Disney's Hollywood Studios along the walking trail, but it will take you some time, about 25 minutes, as it's not super close. Your 5 and 7 year-old will have a much more enjoyable experience taking a water taxi.

In about the same amount of time it would take to walk, you can sit back and enjoy leisurely sailing aboard a water taxi to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Most routes run on 15- to 30-minute intervals and begin operating about 30 min prior to park opening including Extra Magic hours until about 1 hour after park close.

To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios faster from Disney’s Beach Club Villas, catch the bus and enjoy the boat ride on your way back.

Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation!
