Hello Moms! We will be staying at the Beach Club Villas which I believe is near Epcot. (?) Is there boat/ferry transportation available? Would it make the most sense to always get to Epcot and then monorail to TTC for everything else?

    Another Whitney!

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

The Beach Club Villas are indeed one of the Epcot resorts and sits right next to the back gate of Epcot!  While there is boat transportation available to the dock only feet away from that back gate, I think you'll find that by the time you walk to the pier between the Yacht Club and Beach Club to board the boat, you might as well have just walked to the back gate from your villa--you're that close!

I don't recommend going through Epcot to the monorail and TTC. First, you'd need a park hopper ticket, but the walk to the front of Epcot from Beach Club is easily a 15-minute walk.  At Beach Club, you can board a boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios and buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom along with the water parks and Downtown Disney.  The bus stop is about 50 feet from the porte cache of BC, and, as I mentioned before, boat service to DHS is from the pier with the lighthouse that sits between YC and BC.

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
