Shera:
You're in for a TREAT of the most royal kind! If you've only stayed at Pop Century, a value resort, moving up to the deluxe
Beach Club resort offers a vacation on an entirely new level!
Let's start with the pool. Considered one of the top pools at all of Walt Disney World, Stormalong Bay provides water fun for any age, from its long slide to unique sandy-bottom. You can get a free inner tube to enjoy the manmade current that creates a mini "lazy river" or head over to the knee-deep toddler pool to make sand castles. My favorite part of the pool? Walking over to
Beaches 'n' Cream for a memorable ice cream treat. The beachside campfire and movies are on the other side of the sidewalk across from the pool area, and you'll be given the schedule in your check-in packet.
Once inside the resort, you'll notice welcomed upgrades to your room from the granite vanity with fragrant H20 bath products to the pull-out sofa/cot that allows you to comfortably sleep a fifth person. You'll also have a coffee maker and refrigerator. Your room will also be accessed via an "inside" door rather than the motor court-feel of Pop. Preferred rooms may give you a view of Crescent Lake or the pool but if you like quiet, a standard room allows our family to get in afternoon naps.
Lastly, you can't put a price on the resort's proximity to the
Boardwalk, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Give yourself enough time to stroll the Boardwalk in the evening to enjoy the entertainers.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
