We are staying at the Beach Club resort. Is the Boardwalk area within easy walking distance? What other areas are easy walks, for dining and such? Will we walk into Epcot or take transportation?

    Hi Edward,

You are staying in my very favorite location at Disney World! The Crescent Lake area is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located near Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The wonderful Boardwalk area is a short 5 minute walk from the Beach Club. Once you exit the Resort, you can either turn right or left. You'll follow a walkway around the waters edge, crossing over a bridge (in either direction) to get to the Boardwalk. You can also hop on a ferry which will bring you across the lake.

To get to the fantastic Epcot restaurants, you'll want to turn left when exiting your Resort. You walk through the International Gateway, which is the back entrance. This will put you into World Showcase and from there you can head to your reservation.

The Yacht & Beach Clubs have several great restaurants right on property. Be sure to enjoy a sundae at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.

Another option is to take the ferry over the Swan & Dolphin Resorts to dine there, or ride it all the way to Hollywood Studios.

Hope this helps and have a magical vacation,

    Kaylene
