We are staying at the Beach Club for 10 nights in April with 3 children (10,8,5) and have a questions re the rooms. We are booked into a standard room. Is an upgrade to a suite worth it for the peace of mind of the parent? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Craig!  I have stayed at the Beach Club resort many times in the past.  It is one of my families favorite locations at Walt Disney World.

The rooms will tend to feel small when having a family of five staying together.  The suites are very costly and unless you think you will spend a lot of time in the room then I would suggest you not upgrade to that option.  We have stayed in their two bedroom suite which is quite nice: king bedroom, large living area, and bedroom with two queen beds and of course two full baths.  We have found it more cost effective to reserve two connecting rooms when possible.  This will be less money and still give you the two bathrooms and number of beds for your family.  You can request connecting....and make sure you don't confuse it with adjoining which is next door but no common door between.....but understand that they cannot guarantee they can accommodate you.
