    We are staying at the Beach Club in June 2012. I was wondering if there was another option to get to Epcot besides walking? The attractions are at the front of the park which is quite a far walk. Do the boats go into Epcot to drop you off?

    Hi Susan! I stayed at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort a few weeks ago. What a wonderful resort! The Stormalong Bay pool is one of the best in Walt Disney World. The Shipwreck water slide, sand bottom, and currents are awesome.

    A great benefit of staying at this resort is you can walk or travel by boat to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Buses only travel to Disney's Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. The boat takes you to the same entrance as the walking- the International Gateway. This gate is located in the World Showcase near England and France. Since this entry is never crowded you will have quick and easy access into the park. Once in you will have a short walk to many of the countries' pavilions. The walk to Spaceship Earth or Test Track is quite a bit further but the no wait entry and incredibly short travel time from the resort to Epcot more than make up for the trek to Future World. You will especially love the convenient location of Disney's Beach Club Resort after enjoying IllumiNations. You can quickly scoot out the International Gateway and be back in your room while other guests are still riding resort buses or the tram to their parked car.
