Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are staying at the Beach Club in January at the club level. Just received information from the itinerary planners . Would we have a better chance getting reservations at high sought after restaurants on our own, or letting them do it?

    Hi Judy,

    I think you will love staying club level at Disney's Beach Club Resort. I have mixed feelings about letting the itinerary planners assist with dining reservations. I have used the planners in the past and have had great luck with them securing our desired reservations. When I did use the planners I loved being able to hand it off to someone else and wait to hear about our reservations.

    However, if you do not like to give up any control of your planning (like many of us at the Moms Panel,) it's difficult to put your plans in someone else's hands. Some of us simply enjoy the process of seeking dining reservations. If you are that person, you might want to look for your reservations on your own. 

    Or there IS a happy medium. You could send your wish list to the planners and try to get some of the most important reservations on your own. Whatever you decide, I'm sending you pixie dust that you find all of your desired reservations!
