Hi! We will be staying at the Beach Club in February. We will be going to Hollywood Studios and on the same day we have dining reservations at Grand Floridian Cafe. Would it be quicker to drive from our hotel (we will have a car) or take the monorail

    Hi Carol!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We always rent a car for our holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, and while the complimentary transport around the Resort is very useful and can take you to every Resort hotel and theme park, it is quicker to use a car, especially when you are going to an evening dining reservation.  You may park at a Resort hotel free of charge, typically for around 3 hours, if you are visiting for a dining reservation.  With theme parks, there is a daily parking fee which is valid for the whole day, including if you visit other theme parks.  Parking is complimentary for all Guests at the water parks and Disney Springs.  If you prefer a more leisurely transportation option, the Disney Transport is there to be used!  From Disney's Beach Club Resort you would walk to Epcot's International Gateway entrance and board the new Disney Skyliner!   You will enjoy bird's eye views as you travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  After your day there, a Disney bus will take you to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for your dinner reservation.  The monorail will take you back to Epcot (the front entrance), and you'll simply walk to the International Gateway, located between the UK and France pavilions, and from there you can walk back to the Disney Resort hotel.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We are always happy to help.
