Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Sarah. We just love when you stop by! Chatting about Disney vacations is our favorite thing to do. Let's get to it!
You're going to love
Disney's Beach Club Resort. The New England-style theming feels relaxing and upscale, and the proximity to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios just can't be beat! As a mom of three, I know that traveling anywhere with a baby in tow can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, the Walt Disney World Resort makes it a breeze!
Disney bus service to the theme parks begins about 45-minutes prior to opening. Keep in mind, though, that as a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry. So that's to say, pay attention to the
Early Theme Park Entry opening time when planning to hop a Disney bus rather than the standard opening time for offsite Guests. To
view up-to-the-minute updates on when the next bus is arriving, hop on the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap on 'See Bus Times' from your Disney Resort hotel reservation screen. If there's one thing my kids can't stand, it's
waiting, so I really love this app feature!
Beach Club Marketplace, the resort's Quick-Service dining location typically opens as early as 7:00 AM. That should give you plenty of time to grab some coffee to fuel your theme park adventures!
Stormalong Bay (one of my kids' favorite Disney Resort hotel pools!) typically opens at 10:00 AM. I recommend getting there early so you can settle into a table and chairs with a wide umbrella to keep that precious baby in the shade.
You can expect to find fresh fruit and whole milk available at Beach Club Marketplace. You'll also find other baby necessities there like diapers and wipes! Depending on the length of your stay, you may want to consider
placing a grocery order to be delivered to your hotel. When my kids were really little, I always placed a grocery order for milk, fresh fruit, snacks, diapers, wipes, and bottled water. It would conveniently be delivered right to Bell Services, and made for a few less things on my packing list.
Did you know you can
request a complimentary crib for your stay? Just
call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to have that request added to your existing reservation. The crib (or, more likely, standard-sized Pack 'n Play) will be delivered right to your room with a fitted sheet. All you'll need to pack then is whatever lulls your little one to sleep! For my babies, that was always a familiar blanket, a "lovey," and a sound machine that played white noise.
I hope this was helpful, Sarah. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! As always, we'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
Ashley
