Staying at Beach Club in August. Is it possible to walk from Beach Club to Hess Station just outside of Boardwalk Inn to stock up on snacks/drinks? Coming directly from cruise on DME so no car. If possible, how far of a walk? Thank you.

    Hi JanaLee!

Stocking up on items at the Hess Station is a great way to save money on snack during your Walt Disney World vacation.  The station is located adjacent to the Boardwalk Inn and is probably about a mile or so round trip.  The route that I have used is to take a left out of the beach club, cross over the bridge and follow the walk ways to the BoardWalk Inn. From there, cut through the main lobby and follow the side walks to the main entrance of the resort. Just be aware that you will have to cross Epcot Resorts Blvd. so please use caution when crossing.

Depending on the amount of snacks you are purchasing, another good option is to use services such as Garden Grocer and We Go Shop.  I have used both services and my items were always waiting for me upon check-in, which was a big time saver. I was able to purchase the exact items I was looking for and they were considerably less than what I would have paid for at the Hess station.  Plus I was able to purchase Pepsi products and gum, which is not sold anywhere on Disney property.

I hope you have a fabulous vacation and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!

    Best Wishes!
