We are staying at Beach Club in August, I have heard from several people it takes a long time for the buses to come to the hotel for Magic Kingdom. Is it possible to walk to epcot and take the monorail, would it be faster. We only have base tixs.

    Hi Veronica!

Wow, it is so awesome that you are staying at the Beach Club Resort on your next Walt Disney World vacation this August! My son and I love it there. In fact, we just spent five nights there last week!  The best way to get to the Magic Kingdom from the Beach Club Resort will be to take the bus. This bus ride is approximately 15-20 minutes once you are on the bus and the buses typically come even 20 minutes. You could choose to take the Monorail from the front of Epcot to the Magic Kingdom but if you choose this route then you will have to take note of several things. The first thing is that Epcot has to be open and it would require a park ticket with the park hopper option to get into Epcot to walk to the front gate to get the Monorail. The second is that the Epcot Monorail goes to the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC) and then you have to transfer to another Monorail that goes to the Magic Kingdom. This route will take you 40 to 60 minutes or more--the Monorail part of the trip is around 30 to 40 minutes by itself. The Monorail to the Magic Kingdom is fun but it adds transportation time to your day. So the choice is up to you. I love both ways to get to the Magic Kingdom from the Beach Club Resort, but if you are in a hurry then the bus would be the way to go.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
