We will be staying at BCV, and on our first night, we are eating at California Grill. Is there a walkway from BCV to the Monorail at Epcot that does not go through Epcot? You have all been so helpful in our planning, and we really appreciate your help!

That is a great question - but unfortunately the answer is no. Separating the Beach Club Villas from the front entrance of Epcot is not only a wooded area but also a small canal. You would need hiking boots and waders, oh my!

To get to your dinner at the California Grill in the Contemporary Resort, you can walk to the front of Epcot via the International Gateway but this would require park admission. If you are having your dinner on a non-park day, then you would want to avoid this route. You would take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then transfer to a resort monorail for your journey to the Contemporary. You would stop at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom and finally the Contemporary Resort.

Another fun option would be to take your resort water launch to the Hollywood Studios. This is a relaxing ride. Once at the Hollywood Studios, transfer to a bus that goes to the Contemporary Resort.

Your quickest route might be taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom from the Beach Club and then hopping on the monorail to the Contemporary. Once aboard the monorail, the Contemporary is the first stop. You can also easily walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Resort. When exiting the buses, you are only a short walk away from the Contemporary! You would need to go in the opposite direction to get on the monorail.

    Most importantly, enjoy your dinner!
