HI, We are staying at the BCV in August with our 2 and 4 yr old boys. We wanted to know how long the walk is to HS and if you think little ones can handle it (we have a stroller for the 2 yr old) or would you take the boat and if so how long does that take

    Hi Maggie,

You will love staying at the Beach Club Villas and being on the Boardwalk.  A great benefit is that you can walk to Epcot and to Hollywood Studios.  From the Beach Club Villas to Hollywood Studios, the walk is 1.1 miles and is very pleasant.  You will walk on a paved windy pathway along the water.  I definitely think your children can handle this walk especially in the morning when they are fresh.  I agree bringing the stroller for your two year old unless you want to carry him (which we have done by the way with our youngest daughter!)  The boat takes around 15-20 minutes because you stop at all the resorts on the Boardwalk as well as the Swan and Dolphin.  The nice thing about the boat is that you don't have to take any sleeping children out of the stroller when you are on it unlike on the bus.  The walk from the Beach Club Villas to Epcot is less than a quarter of a mile depending on where your room is located.  I know you will just love being on the Boardwalk, Maggie!  The atmosphere is fantastic, and it is truly beautiful!  Thank you for the question and let me know if I can help you again!
