Staying at BC 9/09. Can I walk to Epcot and catch the monorail early a.m. to go to Contemporary for breakfast and onto MG later? Traveling with first time WDW guest and want her to experience a monorail ride instead of a bus.

    Hi Debra,

Great question!  This is one of my favorite resort areas for this exact reason.  I love having the ability to "take the long way" and utilize the Monorail more than the busses.  You can certainly enter Epcot through the International Gateway entrance, but keep in mind that this option is only available once Epcot is open for the day.  You will then need to walk to the front of the park to catch the monorail.  You will want to have the park hopper option on your tickets to execute this plan, because valid theme park admission is required to enter Epcot, even if it's only to pass through.

    Have fun!
