Staying at BC and hear that buses pick up at YC first. Do you think it's worth the short walk to YC and catching the bus there? How often do the buses arrive at BC unable to pick up all the folks waiting there? Thanks again.

    Hi Monica,

If you walk over to Yacht Club to catch the bus, you'll still have to make a stop at Beach Club.  You're better off just staying at Beach Club and catching the bus there.  If the driver sees that a bus is filling up, they'll more than likely call and send another bus over to pick up guests at the resort.  If a bus is really full, another bus is usually right behind it to take guests to their destination.  The great part about being the last stop on the route is that you'll head directly to the parks.

Returning to your resort is another story.  The bus will stop at Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin and Yacht Club before getting to the Beach Club.  Sometimes I find it easiest to get off at the Boardwalk and walk back to the resort, rather than waiting for each stop along the way.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
