We are staying at the Bay Lake Villas and want to enter EPCOT through the International Gateway. We plan to get a Minnie Van to drop us as close as possible to the IG entrance. Which is a shorter walk, from the Beach Club or Yacht Club?

    Hi Betsy!
    Welcome to planDisney.

I love the idea of travelling in style by Minnie Van to EPCOT.  You will see them being driven all around Walt Disney World Resort and they still have an impact on the road with their very distinctive red and black design.  You will make an entrance, that's for sure!

It's a smart idea to take a ride to one of the EPCOT Resort hotels when making your way to International Gateway.  Disney's Beach Club Resort is the closest, but Disney's Yacht Club Resort is not much further away.  If you have time, I recommend a stroll around Disney's BoardWalk, maybe take in a drink or a snack by the waterfront.  Pop into the BoardWalk Deli if coffee and cakes are your thing (they are mine!).  They have a delicious selection.  This map shows where the hotels are located in the EPCOT Resort Area - you'll need to scroll down the page to find the map.

If you are planning to explore all of EPCOT from International Gateway to the front entrance you can take a bus or the monorail back to your Resort hotel.  The monorail takes you to Disney's Contemporary Resort (where Bay Lake Tower is located) via transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC).  It's a nice relaxing ride after a busy day at the park. Or, of course, you could order another Minnie Van from the front entrance, via the Lyft app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, you can also send me a direct question if you wish.  We will be very happy to help you plan your magical vacation.
