    We are staying at the Bay LAke Towers at the Contemporary Resort. The rooms come with Kitchens. We are staying on the property with out a car (planning just to use Disney transportation) Is there a place to go food shopping? If so, how do we get there?

    Hi Gretchen,

    You are in for a magical trip if you are staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort!  I so envy you being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom any time you want.

    During your stay, you can get basic food supplies (milk, cereal, etc.) at the gift shop on the Grand Concourse level of Disney's Contemporary Resort.  However, if you're looking to gather more extensive groceries, I suggest you place an order with www.gardengrocer.com before your arrival.  For a nominal delivery fee, they will pick up your groceries and deliver them to your resort.  If you time your delivery appropriately when you place your order, your requested items be waiting for you when you arrive. 

    Another option, of course, is to take a cab to a local grocery store.  The Cast Members at Guest Services will be happy to provide you with a list of local establishments where you can purchase your own groceries.  This may turn out to be a more expensive option that placing your order online, though.
