I will be staying at Bay Lake Tower in two weeks and I am bringing Christmas lights for the balcony. I was wondering how many feet long the balcony is or a general length by width size so I bring enough with me. Thanks!

    Hi Diana,

My, won't the guests who look up at your balcony at Bay Lake Tower enjoy gazing upon your festive display!  I didn't have a tape measure on me when I visited my parents' studio there last March but I was out on the balcony and would estimate that the balcony in the deluxe studios is probably about 12 feet wide.  Of course, if you're staying in a larger unit, you'll have to adjust that measurement accordingly.

I have several friends who visit the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge every December.  They enjoy decorating their balcony with holiday lights too.  I'm sure they would advise you not to forget an extension cord.  That is just as important as the lights you plan to bring.

Wishing you a magical holiday stay!
