Hi Lauren!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming stay at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort –– it's going to be here before you know it! Like you, my family and I like to enjoy breakfast in the room before heading out to the theme parks, which is part of what makes staying at a
Disney Vacation Club Resort so magical –– no matter what type of accommodations we choose, we know we're going to have access to a kitchen or kitchenette to make our morning meal run smoothly.
While the kitchenette in a
Deluxe Studio might not have as many bells and whistles as a larger Villa, it will still have everything you need to enjoy a quick meal or snack in your room. In each Studio, you'll find a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, in addition to a selection of coffee and tea from Jeffrey's Coffee & Tea Company. You'll also have disposable cups, plates and silverware, so there's no need to bring these from home unless you choose to do so. If you run out of these items at any point during your stay, you can place a call to Housekeeping from your room to request more.
If you're looking for an exciting new dining spot during your trip, be sure to check out
Steakhouse 71 at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Here you'll find a family-friend, casual steakhouse atmosphere that serves up a menu inspired by some of Walt Disney's favorite dishes. If you'd rather stop in for a drink and a quick bite, Steakhouse 71 Lounge offers a comfortable spot to enjoy a 1970s-inspired beverage along with a section of creative snacks, like the PB&J Chicken Wings. Reservations are suggested for Steakhouse 71 and can be made directly from the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Lauren. If you think of any questions as you're planning the last-minute details of your upcoming stay, please don't hesitate to visit us again –– we're always here to help!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
