Hi, I will be staying at bay lake tower on points this fall, are we able to access the private lounge on the 16th floor?

    Hi David,

After a full day in the parks, Top of the World Lounge is a perfect place to relax with friends and family all while taking in some of the most spectacular views of nearby Magic Kingdom Park. Perched atop Bay Lake Tower, this modern and luxurious upscale lounge has plenty of indoor seating as well as an outdoor observation deck which holds the distinction of being the highest point on Walt Disney World property, making it an ideal spot from which to take in the nightly Wishes nighttime spectacular fireworks from nearby Magic Kingdom Park.

Access to Top of the World Lounge is reserved exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members and guests who are staying with them at a Disney Resort hotel, regardless of whether the reservation is booked using Disney Vacation Club points or cash. To access the lounge, simply present yourself at the Top of the World Lounge reception desk in the main lobby. Be sure to bring your Disney Vacation Club membership card so that the Cast Member can verify your credentials before escorting you to an express elevator servicing the lounge.

Currently the lounge is open daily from 6 p.m. until midnight.  If you are planning to stay to watch the fireworks, be sure to arrive early for the best seating. Guests are able to order from a light menu offering appetizers and snacks. In addition, a full service bar is available which offers several specialty beverages, including a Monorail themed cocktail as well as the non-alcoholic Little Monorail for any junior Disney Vacation Club members in your travel party. During the fireworks, the lounge will dim its lights and pipe in the accompanying musical soundtrack. In my opinion, this is one of the best benefits available to Disney Vacation Club members!
