We're staying at Bay Lake Tower. We have a horseback trail ride scheduled for 10:00 am. What time should we leave to catch the Water Taxi to get to the meeting site for the horseback trail at Tri-Circle D Ranch?

Howdy Hazel, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel,

Isn’t it wonderful how there is something for everyone at Walt Disney World Resort! You are going to enjoy and bask in the ideal woodland scenery and natural beauty on your trail ride where you’ll see deer, rabbits, ducks, armadillos, and maybe a few other surprises.

The Horseback Trail Rides at Tri-Circle-D Ranch require Guests to check-in 30 minutes prior to the start of the trail ride at the Old Kennel Building for safety instructions and orientation information. All must be present for this.
Keeping this in mind, as well as Motor Launch wait (15-20 minutes) and travel time on Motor Launch and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Internal Resort Bus 45 minutes), I would recommend leaving Bay Lake Tower marina by 8:00 AM.

Motor Launch transportation (6:65 AM-11:30 PM) is available from Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort marina. Look for the Blue Line. Your Motor Launch will stop at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge on its way to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, which is your stop. From there, catch the Internal Resort Bus and get off at the main entrance near the Old Kennel Building beside the Outpost Depot stop.

I hope this information helps you out, Hazel and hope we can be of further assistance in the near future.
Have a wonderful time on your trail ride and don't forget to catch a glimpse of those peacocks.
