Aloha Kristi,
Nothing makes me happier than finding a question about
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, in my own personal Moms Panel mailbox! I just returned from the Grand Opening Celebration at Aulani a few weeks ago and I can't wait to share with guests what a magical place it is. Thanks so much for posting your query to the Moms Panel.
By the time you arrive at Aulani in February, there will be more than 300 DVC villas open to guests of the fifteen-story resort. The villas can be found in both the north (Wai' anae) and south ('Ewa) towers of the resort. At present, a deluxe studio in the Wai'anae tower will get you closer to the ocean. Therefore, I suggest you request a room on a high floor of the Wai'anae tower. You should have a stunning view of the ocean from a villa in this area. When I visited in September, I had the pleasure to see an ocean view from the 8th floor of the Wai'anae tower and the view was nothing short of breath-taking.
I'm so excited that you will have the chance to experience Aulani in February! It is the perfect place for families to discover the wonders of Hawaii. If there's anything you'd like to know about dining, transportation, excursions, or the accommodations of Aulani before your trip, feel free to
post more questions for me. I'd be happy to tell you anything you'd like to know about this truly magical Disney resort.
Mahalo!
Jill
