    We're staying at ASSR in Aug. Would we be able to catch welcome ceremony at MK since we are checking out next morning? Will be at AKP and will miss the welcome ceremony.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There is nothing like the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show to get you wrapped up in the Disney spirit.

    Weather permitting the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show typically begins every day 20 minutes before official Magic Kingdom Park opening even on days with Extra Magic Hour days. So even if you miss the show one day you can catch it another day. Just be sure to arrive at the gates of Magic Kingdom Park before showtime. You may check showtimes on the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show web page. Also, since the show does not take place inside the theme park you can always ride the Walt Disney World Monorail or take a ferry boat across the Seven Seas Lagoon and watch the show from outside the touchpoints if you don't have tickets.
