    Staying at ASMovies mid Aug. Didnt purchase preferred room. My ? is are there rooms in preferred buildings that are considered standard? Can i request NOT to be put in a certain building? Don't want Love Bug. Which MDucks building is closest to Music?

    Hi, Patty!  At the All-Star Movies Resort, all rooms in the Toy Story, Fantasia, and 101 Dalmatians buildings are considered "preferred rooms."  If you book a standard room, you can ask for the upgrade at check-in, but the resorts are often filled to capacity so if you really want one of those locations, I suggest booking the upgraded preferred room.   (Usually it is about $15 per night more per room, but speak to a reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY for exact pricing.)

    Requests for certain locations can be made.  Have your confirmation number handy and call (407)W-DISNEY and have your request added.   I like to request a standard room (we always have a car, so I like to be close to the parking lot) and I also request a first floor room to avoid stairs or elevator if possible.   Requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed. 

    The way the buildings are angled, and depending on your room location, both Mighty Ducks buildings are about the same distance to All-Star Music.  Building 3 might be a bit closer, but you can simply ask to be put in a room closer to the Music area. 

    Regardless of room location, preferred or standard, all rooms at the All-Star Resorts are identical in size and amenities.
