We R staying at ASM. We will have paid for everything in full when we arrive in June. Is there a way to put extra money on our room and then use R room card to charge gratuity& shop purchases? Thx luv the PANEL!!!!!!!

As long as you provide a credit card at check-in you are free to charge both gratuity and merchandise purchases to your room.  When my family vacations we actually prefer to do it this way because it's convenient for us to have one folio that lists all of our expenses.  We even charge our meals.

If you'd rather the charges not be applied to the credit card you provide, you can always periodically go to the lobby and use a different method of payment to take care of those charges (ie., a Disney gift card or cash).  There is a certain cap at which Disney charges the card, so you'll just want to inquire about that at check-in and be sure to take care of the charges before your spending reaches that cap.

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
