    We are going to be staying at the Art of Animation. I was wondering how much time do I allow for travel time? For Example, if Magic Kingdom opens at 8 am and want to be there a few minutes before they open, what time should I be waiting for the bus?

    Hi Cherie!

         You are going to love Disney's Art of Animation Resort!  I would recommend that you get in line for the bus at 6:50 am because the first buses for Magic Kingdom will depart around 7:00 am if Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 8:00 am on that particular day.  It takes around 15 to 20 minutes to get to Magic Kingdom from the Art of Animation Resort and then you will have to go through bag check and the ticket boothes when you arrive at Magic Kingdom (can take 15 to 20 minutes as well).  If you are at the Magic Kingdom 15 minutes before it is scheduled to open on that particular day, then you will have the opportunity to see the opening ceremony which is a delightful show on the Walt Disney World Railroad Station where Mickey Mouse and some friends open the Magic Kingdom everyday!
