We are staying at the Art of Animation in 2018. We would like to visit the Animal Kingdom Resort. What kind of transportation must I use? Is it close enough to AK park to walk to the resort?

Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Judy ~

I love to see that you are planning ahead for your 2018 trip! It is a very exciting time and keeps me a little calmer until it is time to set off on our pixie dusted trail!

You are going to love Disney's Art of Animation Resort! The theming of this resort is super cute! They have great pools including The Big Blue Pool which is the largest pool at any of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Be sure to pay attention when you go underwater . . . you can hear sounds from "Finding Nemo". That is righteous dude!

There is complimentary bus transportation provided from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to all four of the theme parks, both water parks, and Disney Springs. There is one bus stop which is located in front of Animation Hall. The Animal Kingdom bus may make other stops instead of going straight to and from Animal Kingdom. Be sure to check with a Cast Member about the current routes. If you have a car, it may be faster to drive to Animal Kingdom. It is not close enough to walk so if you don't have a car, your options are to take a bus or get a taxi.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
