We are staying at Art of Animation and are going to be staying in a Little Mermaid Room. How long of a walk will it be to get to the main building, or would it be closer to walk across to Pop Century and catch the bus over there??

    Hi Julie!

You are going to absolutely LOVE Disney's brand new Art of Animation Resort! I visited the resort back in April and was simply amazed by it!

You'll find that the walk to the bus depot area at your resort will be just a pleasant, approximately 10 minute stroll down the resort pathways. You can in fact cut through on the pathway just before or just after the Lion King themed section of the resort and find yourself right out at the bus depot, rather than proceeding in and through Animation Hall.

You won't find it to be closer to head over to Pop Century. That would definitely be a further walk since the Generation Gap bridge is located at the back of the center portion of your resort, while the bus depot is at the front of that same area, on the side closer to your resort section in fact. If you wish, try searching for Art of Animation Resort Map under images on your browser search engine. This will help you to visualize exactly where you're headed prior to your arrival on site!

You'll find that you'll be on your way in to the parks quite quickly!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Julie.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
