We are staying at Art of Animation in September 2016. How far is our resort from the Magic Kingdom? What complimentary transportation is available for us to use to get there? Thank you!

    Hi, Melody!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and I can tell you that you are in for a treat! I was immediately impressed by the extraordinary theming, incredibly detailed courtyards, beautiful pools (including The Big Blue Pool - the largest Walt Disney World Resort hotel pool!) and top-notch Landscape of Flavors food court.

Walt Disney World Resort Bus Service to and from the Theme Parks, including Magic Kingdom Park, is complimentary and available to Guests staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. One of my favorite features of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is that it has its own dedicated bus line. This means you will not have to make stops at other Resort hotels, which saves time (and allows for more fun!).

In terms of travel time, once you depart Disney's Art of Animation Resort for Magic Kingdom Park, the bus ride will take around 20-25 minutes. Because buses run every 20 minutes or so, plan on a one-way trip to Magic Kingdom Park taking up to 45 minutes.

I hope this helps with your planning, Melody! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions about your upcoming visit.

    Wishing you magical memories!
    Erin
