It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!
I had the chance to experience
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the brand new attraction at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, just a few days after it opened in December and I'm here to tell you that the hype is real! It's Disney's most technologically advanced attraction and certainly one of the most extraordinary things I've ever seen with my own eyes. Guests have really caught on to how exciting this new attraction is and have been getting to
Disney's Hollywood Studios pretty early to ensure that they get a spot, so let's chat about what you can do if you want to be one of the lucky people to join Rey, Finn, and Poe and fight for the Resistance when you're on vacation.
While you're there this week, Disney's Hollywood Studios will be opening at 7 a.m. and I recommend getting there at least an hour in advance if Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is your priority. That will place you at the front of the line or close to it so that you can be one of the first people to tap your
MagicBand to access the Theme Park and
join a boarding group using the
My Disney Experience app. When I was there recently there were
buses running that early in the morning, so check the monitor at the bus stop at your Resort Hotel to see when the next one will arrive.
Minnie Van Service hours have been extended to accommodate the early opening of Disney's Hollywood Studios as well, so that's a great option too if you want a private ride.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort also has access to the
Disney Skyliner so be sure to check the schedule there as well! It will likely not be open early enough to be one of the first guests to arrive, but it will start running before the Theme Parks open for the day.
Have a magical day, Jennifer, and may the Force be with you!
