Hi Shawna! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with
Pre-School Kids and Little Ones can be such a fun and magical time. I love watching the magic through the eyes of my children.
In my opinion
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is such an incredible family resort. It seems as if they have really thought of everything to make your trip as easy as possible here especially if you are staying in a Family Suite. We really love the Landscape of Flavors food court area. Even my pickiest eater seems to be able to find foods that she enjoys. Pack N Plays are available for your use. You can request them on your Resort Reservation or when you arrive for your stay. If you get to your Resort hotel room and there isn’t a Pack N Play already in the room, simply dial “Mousekeeping” (also known as housekeeping) from your in room phone. Mousekeeping will be more than happy to deliver it and set it up for you!
Strollers are a must for my family. I always forget just how much walking there is when at Disney and my kids are always looking for a place to rest throughout the day. Without knowing how many children you have or their ages it is hard for me to suggest the best stroller for you. However, what I will suggest is a stroller that has some extra room to help your child/children be comfortable. I have three children so when I visit we bring one McLaren umbrella type stroller for my oldest, and then we rent a “Citi Mini Double” stroller from Orlando Stroller Rentals. All of these strollers recline allowing my children to take a snooze if needed.
Please feel free to stop back and see us real soon with any other park planning questions that you may have! Have an Unforgettable time!
