Hiya, Eboney, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to help you continue planning your dream getaway to the
Walt Disney World Resort!
It sounds like you’re thinking about staying at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which means you’re in for a real treat! From the themed family suites to the beautifully-detailed courtyards, to the easy access to
Disney Skyliner, there are so many reasons why Guests love staying here. As a Guest of Art of Animation, you’ll receive access to the
three amazing pools on property, but you won’t be able to access
the pools at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort, since pool hopping isn’t permitted. However, I’m happy to report that Art of Animation has plenty of water fun to keep your family busy! Did you know that Art of Animation has the single largest hotel pool at Walt Disney World Resort?! That’s right, the Big Blue Pool, inspired by
Finding Nemo, even has an interactive water play area, which is perfect for smaller Mouseketeers! In addition, you’ll be able to enjoy the Cozy Cone Pool, inspired by
Cars, and Flippin’ Fins Pool, inspired by
The Little Mermaid. I love the cone-shaped cabanas surrounding the Cozy Cone Pool, which are perfect for families needing to cool their engines. Your family will also get a kick out of Sebastian’s “Under the Sea Orchestra” at the Flippin’ Fins Pool. Watching these favorite films come to life throughout Art of Animation is so much fun, and I can’t wait for you to experience it next year.
Speaking of 2021, there’s so much to look forward to! Not only will the Walt Disney World Resort be celebrating 50 magical years, but we’re also eagerly awaiting the opening of
TRON Lightcycle / Run, and
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Plus, it looks like you’ll be arriving in time for the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! You’re going to love the gorgeous exhibits and gardens, serving as the perfect backdrop to lively entertainment and mouth-watering dishes!
I hope this information was helpful, Eboney! Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
